NEW DELHI, Sep 6 (PRIME) -- India will put the idea of the Group of Seven leading industrial nations on introducing a price cap on Russian oil through thorough consideration, Indian Oil Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said late on Monday.
“People talks a lot because of a large amount of factors … What will this suggestion mean? We will look into it very closely,” he said.
It is still unclear which countries will participate and what consequences it could bear for the markets, he said, adding that India was not in moral conflict because of purchases of Russian oil and that it would continue buying oil anywhere.
